Grab your board...

Fall and winter mean Washington and Oregon surf season kicks off for us after capping a long summer of wake clinics, events, and lessons recently. I just checked out the surf report at the typical spots and it looks like a few fun days are ready to be had. I am in lazy boat bum shape, but it seems I now have my motivation to get off the couch. If anyone wants to charter the bus for any surf trips let us know. The locations we travel with groups is pretty limited, but well known areas are usually a sure bet for some fun waves. Contact info is on the main website along with some more on the bus as well.

Greg Young: Serial Exaggerator? ... I Think Not

Wed, Oct 29, 2008

Over the years, I feel as though I’ve gotten a bad rap amongst some of my friends as the guy that “makes up stories” or “invents fictitious characters” just to be funny. My only defense has been to simply state that for some odd reason I come into contact with an enormous amount of strange people and even stranger situations. I do not seek these random people or events out, I just seem to constantly be in the right place at the right time.

rideBLOG | Update

Tue, Oct 28, 2008

Apparently I embarrassed Greg with the last news post. To those of you that do not like Harry Potter and his witchcraft or pink rhinoceros...es...es (?), I apologize.

In other news, I posted up a new rideBLOG which pretty much reiterated what I said last week here, except I added a sweet photo of some swedish dudes hoping for snow. Head on over to the rideBLOG and have a look.

Fall / Winter 2008-2009

Tue, Oct 28, 2008

We have officially hit the Fall transition between summer and winter here in the Northwest. That means that Northwest Riders Clothing Company has some new goods coming out in the next few weeks. Hoodies, tees, and some sweet custom beanies are in line and shipping soon. Check www.northwestriders.com frequently for updates and to buy the new gear when it drops. In the meantime...make sure you are as dedicated as the two swedish chaps above - take your board or skis to work day starts now.

Where in the World?

Wed, Oct 22, 2008

So where have we been lately? I'd like to tell you that I just wanted to wait an exact month between posts because I got a chain letter that told me a pink rhinoceros named Stan would appear and grant me three wishes if I did...but that's just silly. In truth, the weird hat thing from Harry Potter came over the other day and has been continually distracting me whenever I attempt to update the NWR News. He just keeps screaming SLITHEREN!!! every time I hop on here...but he finally got bored and left.

So now that's cleared up and I can get to it. I am claiming the excuse of being so busy behind the scenes that the content for any news would have been boring. The work has been steady...just not noteworthy. I am officially making no sense (I have not eaten all day I think I may be hallucinating), so a note that is, in fact, worthy: We have some new hoodies and tees dropping in the next few weeks. Girls too! Blanks just arrived and the magic is set in motion. Goodness to come
