On the Road
Monday June 23rd 2008With skimboarding since everyone can spread out and take turns, and since its hard for a two inch deep tide pool to get choppy, there almost seems to be an overabundance of time. These guys are really fun to hang out with and they are pros at finding good ways to kill time. Yesterday it was super windy out and we had a contest to see who could run the furthest down the beach diving in and out of a hula hoop as it rolled down the beach. I haven't run in a long time and the hula hoop probably made it almost 3/4 of a mile down the beach. I almost didn't make it that far. Anyways, when the biggest challenge in 5 days is trying to come up with games you can play to kill time, life is pretty good.
I quickly realized yesterday how much I miss Bellingham, its awesome to see everyone cruising around town riding bikes and just enjoying the weather at a slow pace. Everyone likes sleeping in around here, so I spent my morning drinking coffee and playing around with the camera on Emile's computer. I've attached what I feel is my finest photo of the morning. I hope all is well back home, talk to you the next time I get WiFi.
