The Spring Outdoor Symposium is an annual event where multiple outdoor equipment vendors are gathered together in front of the Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals store front. Giving you the ability to connect with those vendors to get ready for your spring activities, get deals on outdoor gear, and pursue job opportunities; while being surrounded with live music, food and drinks.

Get ready for spring at OPR’s Outdoor Spring Symposium The time has come to gear up for a spring and summer full out outdoor activities at Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals (OPR) Outdoor Spring Symposium Thursday, April 21 on the East Patio of the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
This year’s symposium is the perfect place to get the spring season off on the right foot. Attendees will get the opportunity to hunt for bargains at the wide array of action sports vendors. Event-goers will also be able compete in a longboard race sponsored by Red Bull, try their hand at stand-up paddle boarding, listen to live music and enjoy tasty BBQ from CWU Dining Services.
