Back in March of 2009 we were inspired by the cover of a book we saw. We decided then to create a contest based around the idea of awesome book covers and titles. We started collecting these books and now have an ongoing library of randomness at our Northwest Riders office.

We re-launched this contest for 2011 with the top 3 contestants able to take home Northwest Riders gear and other prizes.

The NWR Book Blast Contest is now closed. We will be sitting down to judge the entries based on the criteria we listed at the start and will have the top three decided soon. Keep posted here and to our Facebook pages for the announcement of the winners.

The NWR Book Blast Contest is coming to a close. We will keep the contest open until next Friday and will then begin the process of deciding the top three. Some solid prize packs are on the line. If you have not sent any entries in...this is your chance. Six days left.

I'm gonna let these speak for themselves and give the rest of you a preview of some solid examples of what we're looking for in this contest. We'll keep posting them randomly.

Alright folks...new contest. Those of you that know us at Northwest Riders have probably seen our ongoing collection of books that have no clear reason for being on someone's shelf. We came across some real beauties the other day and decided it was worth a giveaway or two if the NWR faithful could come up with some equally fantastic covers. So here is the gist of this contest: You come up with the best book cover as judged by us here at Northwest Riders Clothing Co. and we give you some free gear. The only rule is that you can't send in anything profane or inappropriate. If you have to ask, it probably is not appropriate...so don't send it. Any duplicate entries...we will count the first submitted and disqualify the second. We will post them up at northwestriders.com as we get them. The Twist: We are looking to ADD to our ongoing collection. So...we are grading on two points. The best cover is 50% of the judging score and the price of the book (lower the better) is the other 50% of the judging. Bonus points if you buy the book and bring it to us or send it in to our office.
